When these girls took the field this weekend you would never guess that they had never played in a tournament together and that most of the team have never played a tournament before.  The 10U team is comprised of players born 2009 and 2010, which only some every playing travel before, but that would not stand in their way.  The team showed up big representing "Team Heather" in the Save Second Base for Breast Cancer Tournament.  Accented in pink in support of "Team Heather" and all who are fighting Breast Cancer or have already fought this fight, the girls came fighting themselves.  They had a perfect day at 2-0 in pool play and decided they would do the same thing in championship play on Sunday go 2-0 as well, in route to holding up the Championship Plaque and medals around their necks.  Great showing ladies and coaches in your first outing, the future is bright for you.
