The College of Southern Maryland (CSM) softball team has wrapped up an outstanding 2025 season, marked by impressive individual performances and multiple honors in the NJCAA Region 20 All-Region selections. Maryland Hustle alumni have once again proven their talent and dedication, playing pivotal roles in the Hawks' success.
Dakota Headley (Team Headley) Named 2025 MVP
Dakota Headley, a standout infielder for CSM, earned the prestigious MVP award for the 2025 season. Headley's clutch hitting and dependable defense were key factors in the team’s strong showing throughout the year. She finished with a .422 batting average, 35 RBIs, and 48 total bases, consistently delivering in high-pressure moments that helped propel the Hawks forward.
Laci Johnson (Team Cusic) Takes Offensive Player of the Year
Laci Johnson, another Maryland Hustle alum and key contributor on the infield, earned the Offensive Player of the Year award after an incredible season at the plate. Johnson’s dominant performance featured a staggering .590 batting average, 15 home runs, 120 total bases, and 49 RBIs. Her power and consistency were critical to the Hawks’ offensive firepower and overall success.
